There is minor assembly required (bed rails, mirror, drawer inserts), but its easy and this is a really great deal. The wood is not veneer and is solid oak with a great finish. The exterior structures are all T&G (or dove-tailed, as they say), but the drawers are pressed material (still solid wood) and they are set on metal rollers. However, the overall look and construction of the pieces are of very high quality. I would suggest getting two bedside tables instead of one. I was impressed at the quality of the construction, as most items in this price range are staple and glue productions, which don't last. After living with cheap furniture that didn't match, this one set is a keeper. I truly am pleased. | |
