My main reason for purchasing this particular book display was its cost....it was the cheapest one available. The holders for books are made of canvas, which means that our books fall out a lot and its a bit annoying....but the all-wood ones were priced too high. A book display is excellent for toddlers and preschoolers who may have difficulty getting their books neatly into a regular bookshelf. It's also a great choice for homeschooling families for putting your monthly books out. We rotate books with a theme each month; using this display attractively shows our books of choice.

this product is pretty good. the design on the sides are colorful, which attracts the children and the height of the product is wonderful for toddlers. i guess the only thing wrong is how little it is (which isnt that bad) because it wouldnt fit alot of books and the part where it holds the book is cloth. very interesting but this product onlyold few books.

We are big book-lovers, so we didnt want to keep our son's books in a toy box. As a former library aide and an english tutor, I noticed children show more interest in books when they can see the front covers.
My 1yr old has always enjoyed 'reading' his books, but since we got him this book display (and set it up in a corner of our living room), he is now learning to treat them better.
It was very easy to put together. I also feel it is very safe - no way to tip it over, no sharp corners. It holds nearly two dozen boardbooks of assorted sizes...I'm sure it will hold even more when we switch to paper books.
The carvings on both sides are wonderful pieces of craftmanship, and the paint colors are very pleasing to the eye. I think it is a suitable design for either a boy or girl.
