Although the rocker wasnt as wide as we expected, it is still a gliding gem for reliable rocking. We purchased this rocker for our daughter who is due to give birth in June so she hasn't had a chance to put it to a full test but it has already won the admiration of others. A friend stopped by her home and saw the chair. They commented on its beauty and comfort and asked the price. They we shocked and said they expected it to have cost twice as much. We especially liked the way the head rest is both soft enough and flexable enough to support the head while rocking. The chair wasn't immediately available when we ordered it but the supplier was very gratious and accomodating to make sure we got it as soon as possible. Great product and great supplier.... Thanks.
